STUDENTS at the Northern Regional College’s Coleraine campus got an insight into cutting edge medicine recently thanks to a link-up with the University of Ulster.
Dr Sarah Atkinson, from the faculty for Life and Health Studies at UU, visited them with a presentation on a new course in stratified medicine.
The study of this subject provides students with the ability to understand how genes, lifestyle and environment can influence disease and revolutionise healthcare practices.
