THE opening of a new Italian restaurant in Belfast has created 35 new jobs.
With an already impressive portfolio of 140 restaurants across the UK and Ireland, Zizzi in Victoria Square is the first restaurant to be opened by the chain in Northern Ireland.
Ahead of the official opening Zizzi’s Marketing Director, Jo Fawcett said: “Belfast is a prime location for Zizzi and we are delighted to be creating 35 jobs. Choosing Belfast was an easy decision for us; the vibrancy and individuality of the city makes it a perfect setting for a restaurant like Zizzi and we can’t wait to leave our mark on the already animated food scene. Zizzi is the perfect accompaniment to all occasions, be it shopping, cinema or nightlife.”
The Belfast restaurant also features a bespoke wall mural designed by local artist Hannah Coates.
