BELFAST based make-up artist and entrepreneur, Ciara Daly has secured a lucrative contract with Gordons chemists to sell her make-up brush collection.
Created and designed by Ciara the Hero foundation brush has already proven a phenomenal success with over 40,000 brushes being sold in less than four years by students at her make-up academy, Hero house parties and various exhibitions throughout the UK and Ireland.
Ciara, who started her make-up academy in 2009, created her make-up brush collection after identifying a gap in the market. She said:
“Whilst teaching my make-up students I quickly realised that few of them had the right tools of the trade as good make-up brushes are indispensable. Many national brands are too expensive and the cheaper options you can buy on-line just don’t do any professional makeup artist justice. I set out on a mission to create my own line of brushes and find the right manufacturer and worked tirelessly to ensure that the packaging looked sleek, fun and professional too.”
