THE DMS Awards 2016 celebrated the achievements of 36 Human Resource (HR) and Learning & Development (L&D) professionals and it was an extra special evening for Mid Ulster Council’s Joseph McGuckin.
Joseph, who has just completed the CIPD Advanced Diploma in Human Resource Management with DMS, was the proud winner of the DMS Candidate of the Year 2016 Award.
Joseph explained: “Receiving the Candidate of the Year Special Award was a complete surprise. It is hard work to balance work, study and home commitments and achieving my qualification and winning this award has made it all worthwhile.”
Young Enterprise Northern Ireland (YENI) ambassador, Jim Eastwood presented two special awards on the evening for HR/L&D Professional of the Year, given to winner Eimear Cunningham, HR Manager at Telestack and HR/L&D Team of the Year which went to Neueda Consulting Ltd.
