THE search is on for the next generation of budding literary stars. Eason is encouraging students to get their creative hats on and share their imagination through short stories for its new creative writing competition.
It’s open to all second level students by submitting a short story, on a subject of their choice, to http://www. easonedition.com/easoncreates-creative-writingcompetition/ by midnight on Sunday (May 15).
A shortlist will be finalised by a panel of book experts this month. The best stories will then be published online on easonedition.com and put forward for a public vote.
The panel will then judge this shortlist and their scoring combined with the public vote will determine one overall winner for each category.
