TODAY is the last day for community groups who need support to submit their entries to the Lidl Community Works campaign.
Launched by Lidl Northern Ireland to find groups across Northern Ireland who are in need of funds and a helping hand, this year’s campaign features an exciting foodie theme for 33 winners.
To mark 2016 being the Northern Ireland Year of Food & Drink Lidl ambassador and chef, Ian Orr will visit each of the 33 winning groups to take part in a cooking element to help raise funds.
Now in its third year, Lidl Community Works has already reached out to more than 600 community groups across the province, investing thousands of pounds to date.
Regional director at Lidl NI Conor Boyle said: “We have 38 stores across the province and we are dedicated to helping support those local areas whether it’s by providing jobs, working with local suppliers or investing in clubs and projects.”
