GLOBAL airline Emirates is holding a recruitment day for cabin crew in Belfast this weekend.
The open day takes place tomorrow at the Hilton Hotel, Belfast, and will offer interested applicants, both men and women, the opportunity to meet with the Emirates recruitment team, learn about the brand and explore the opportunities that the job presents.
When it comes to the ideal candidate, Emirates seeks dedicated employees who are open-minded, helpful, friendly and service-oriented. Applicants have to be at least 21 years old at the time of possible recruitment and are requested to bring an up-to-date CV in English together with a photograph.
The company currently employs over 30 people in Ireland and more than 500 globally, the majority of whom are based in Dubai.
Applicants are asked to register online in advance for the open day, which commences at 9am, and further information can be found on the Emirates website.
Another airline currently recruiting is Flybe who is searching for 370 new flight deck crew. The company has appointed CTC Aviation to spearhead its recruitment drive through a series of direct entry pilot recruitment roadshows across the UK and Ireland and will be visiting Belfast on April 25.
Director of flight operations for Flybe Colin Rydon said: “We are travelling the length and breadth of our network so that those looking to join us during this very exciting period of growth can learn more about life at Flybe and the career opportunities that we offer.”
Speaking at CTC aviation’s pilot graduation ceremony last December, Flybe CEO Saad Hammad said: “Our pilots have the opportunity to move from turbo-props to jets, and those joining as newly-qualified First Officers could progress to command within three and a half to four years.”
