CDE Global, with headquarters in Cookstown, has been recognised for its investment in innovative recycling technology by the European Quality Association.
Across the five sectors where CDE sells materials washing equipment, there is a common theme: the company has established a position as a world leader as a result of a focus on creating value from waste.
Sales director Enda Ivanoff said: “Whether it is construction materials, recycling construction waste, road sweepings, iron ore mining or glass sand production, we help our customers to maximise product yield from their reserve while minimising waste.
“This allows our customers to meet the growing demand for our mineral reserves in a way that minimises environmental impact and maximises the efficiency of their operation.”
The European Quality Association award followed the company’s development of pioneering systems which divert more than six million tonnes of construction and demolition waste from landfill every year.
CDE Global is committed to creating a sustainable alternative to natural materials and helping to protect the world’s aggregate resources.
Speaking of their success in the field, Brendan McGurgan, managing director of CDE Global, said: “We realise that the potential for these solutions to be used at sites around the world is vast.
At CDE, we are number one in the world because we don’t just want to do business, we want to make a difference. We partner with our customers to make sure we meet the global demand for minerals while also having minimal impact on the environment.
“We recognise that we are merely guardians of these resources for the generations that follow us and the generations that follow them.
We are all committed to finding new ways to provide minerals in a sustainable way.
We are proud to bring this added benefit to our customers and to the world around us.
CDE will keep innovating ground breaking recycling technologies so that our work will have a positive effect on generations to come.”
