THE Southern Health and Social Care Trust is hosting a recruitment day to enhance its nursing workforce.
Taking place on Friday, October 2, in Seagoe Parish Centre, Portadown, there will be interviews on the day, offers made, and pre-employment checks completed.
The trust is hoping to attract applications from registered nurses along with year two and year three students.
The trust’s Executive Director of Nursing, Francis Rice, said: “As our population grows and demands on our services increase, we are currently recruiting for Band 5 Adult Nurses.
“As one of the best performing trusts in Northern Ireland, we want to attract the highest calibre of nurses.
“Because we want our patients and clients to get the best possible care, we want our staff to get the best training and support — so Southern Trust nurses benefit from a wide range of experience, rotation, preceptorship and other opportunities for continuous professional development.
“We are committed to providing safe, high quality care, every day for every patient and client, so we would love to hear from dedicated and compassionate nurses or nursing students.”
