Belfast software firm set to expand its city offices

15th January 2015

A Belfast software firm is creating a dozen jobs in an expansion which will almost double its workforce.

Cloud Operate is adding the new posts as part of a move to new offices at Linenhall Street. Four are already in place.

The new ‘hi-tech’ positions, which include software developers and testers, will grow the workforce to 26 staff.

The firm specialises in cloud-computing applications, selling its services in support of sister company Cased Dimensions, which is based in the Republic.

Cloud Operate has received almost £100,000 from Invest NI towards the expansion.

Executive chairman Aaron McCormack said while it had considered placing the new jobs with the company’s team in the Philippines, Invest NI’s backing helped create the positions locally “whist remaining cost competitive”.
