SOUTH West Regional College is running a new course aimed at boosting skills in the financial services sector. The apprenticeship is designed to qualify employees currently working in the insurance sector, focusing mainly on the general insurance pathway which is accredited by City and Guilds and the Chartered Institute of Insurance (CH).
Employers are eligible for an incentive of up to £500 on successful completion of the apprenticeship framework. A number of local companies are currently working alongside the college on the programme, including Enniskillen-based Brady Insurance and Dickson and Co in Omagh.
