In today’s Nijobfinder, the US-based outsourcing company, Stream, is recruiting for a number of permanent, full time positions.

The campaign follows the creation of its new Belfast contact centre which already employs several hundred people but there are still some 400 posts to fill.

It is expected the project will create almost 1,000 jobs and will deliver £14m annually in additional salaries. Speaking at the official opening of the Airport Road West facility last week, Stream CEO Kathy Marinello said: “Our new Loughview facility is a showcase location for Stream globally.

The centre will be industryled, hosted at Queen’s University, and will draw on the research capabilities of University of Ulster and Agri-Food Biosciences Institute.

The centre has been offered £5m from Invest NI, supporting industry-led research in a key sector for the economy.

Their innovative project was designed to increase financial education for students and those in the community.

The team set up a support group for young mothers, with weekly speakers that covered topics from student finance to childcare to healthy recipes on a budget.
