MEDICAL company Randox has taken on 260 new staff since the start of the year. The Antrim company said it’s in the process of filling 60 positions this month to add to the 200 it’s already hired since the start of the year,with 90% taken up by new graduates.
Randox,which focuses on diagnostics,said the recruit-ment rise is the result of growing demand for its prod-ucts which are used in every-thing from hospitals to food testing laboratories to foren-sics.Senior manager Mark Campbell said:“Randox’s mar-ket share is continually grow-ing and we need a steady stream of excellent staff with specialist skills in areas like science,engineering and busi-ness,so we place a lot of im-portance on the number of graduates we recruit.”
