BANGOR is bidding to become the first destination in Northern Ireland to achieve WorldHost status, thanks to a new course.
The Greater Belfast Retail Skills Shop, South Eastern Regional College (SERC) and North Down Borough Council have come together to pilot a new WorldHost Retail Training scheme.
It aims to offer Bangor businesses an innovative package of support to help them become more successful and sustainable.
WorldHost Retail Training offers businesses the chance to address any skills challenges and gain competitive advantage.
This unique training programme, subsidised by the council, will provide frontline teams in businesses across North Down with the skills, confidence and behaviours to create a great first impression, boost customer service and loyalty.
The training programme offers the opportunity for Bangor High Street to become the first destination in Northern Ireland to achieve WolrdHost status — a prestigious accolade to draw visitors and customers into the town and one which assures the quality of the welcome and service they will receive.
