SERC student Wendi Magee has won a gold medal in reflexology at the 2012 Worldskills competition.
She was part of a successful team which competed recently at the event in Birmingham, securing a medal haul including two golds and a bronze.
It proved a double success for SERC’s reflexology team at the competition, with Wendi Magee and Melanie Marshall bringing home Gold and Bronze medals.
Speaking of her success Wendi said: “It feels great to have won the gold medal. All the hours of practice for the event has paid off and I couldn’t be happier.”
WorldSkills is the world’s largest international skills competition where young people from across the globe compete to become the best of the best in their chosen skill. For many this is the opportunity to prove they are the rising generation of their industry.
