THE continued evolution of Northern Ireland’s financial services industry means there are a growing number of jobs becoming available in the sector.Â
Belfast-based Spence & Partners said it’s recruiting for several positions to service its growing client base which is spread across the UK and Ireland.Â
The posts, which are all based in the city, range from placement students to senior defined pension administrators and reflect the growing importance of the financial services sector to Northern Ireland.Â

Spence & Partners was founded in 2000 and are administrators, consultants and actuaries. Along with the office in Belfast, it also has branches in Glasgow and London.Â
 The company plans to take part in an annual recruitment fair at Queen’s University on 10 October to attract some of the new talent, where graduates currenlty working for the company will be on hand to share their experiences of developing a career in financial services.Â
Meanwhile, a Co Antrim company is creating 32 new jobs following a $3.2m expansion backed by Invest NI to the tune of £160,000.Â
Aromet Group provides tyre and tube repair solutions and already employs 60 people in Lisburn. The new posts will be in manufacturing and sales positions.Â
IT company HP has also announced it has invested in new offices in Belfast and is expected to create up to 40 new jobs in the engineering sector. It will be moving its 50 engineers to the new Cromac Square address where the new posts will also be based
