Overview

The IT Service Manager performs a critical role managing our IT Services within a large complex technical environment. The Service Manager will be responsible for service performance, stakeholder relationships and liaising with multiple suppliers to ensure continuous service improvement on a daily basis. The Service manager will ensure that IT Service processes are aligned with the IT service requirements of the organisation.

About you

• 3+ years’ experience within the last 5 years in an IT Service Manager role within a large organisation.
• Can demonstrate experience of managing a team including planning, prioritising and managing resources within a collaborative team-based environment.
• Desirable: A relevant IT degree / ITIL Certified.

What you'll do as an IT Service Manager

• The IT Service Manager will ensure that the IT service processes are well defined, implemented and operated across the organisation.
• Promote the adoption of ITIL principles within and beyond the IT Department and ensure all processes adhere to ITIL industry standards.
• Assist with the implementation of the IT strategy including communicating how technology supports the organisation's strategic goals
