Nursery Assistant - Full & Part Time Permanent Roles
Job description
We are currently seeking Full Time Permanent Nursery Assistant in our Afterschool Rooms. We would be willing to making this position a part time post for the right candidate.
Daytime shifts Monday - Friday,
Full time positions between 34-40 hours per week over four or five days
Four day posts Mon, Wed, Thurs & Fri from 8am-5.30am
Five day post Mon-Fri 9am-6pm
Part Time Role 20 - 22.5 hours per week Shifts either 1.30pm-6pm or 2pm-6pm
Salary: Up to £11.79 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Care for children in the nursery.
- Assisting with children's daily routines, engaging with the children in play and creative activities.
- Engaging in play and creative activities with the children.
- Ensuring children are stimulated in a creative & positive environment.
- Ensuring all policies & procedures are followed.
- Dealing with queries from parents / carers.
- Conducting general cleaning duties as required.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential: Working towards or qualified in CACHE / QCF Level 2/3 in Children's Care Learning & Development or equivalent.
Desirable: Experience working with children in either a paid or voluntary capacity.
