VANRATH are recruiting a Dual-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a large production team, attending to breakdowns and preforming routine, preventative maintenance.

£43,000 starting salary

Main Responsibilities
• Solve reasons for breakdown and undertaking corrective and preventative actions to resolve
• Repairs and maintenance of PLC controlled machinery.
• The recording and reporting of maintenance activities.
• Conduct equipment inspections and determine appropriate job work scopes and standards
• Create and maintain plant history and other technical files to include information in current job plans to anticipate and avoid job delays.
• Provide technical assistance as required to improve the reliability and performance of the plant's machinery.
• Utilise Computer based maintenance management system to support the maintenance function.

The Ideal Person:

• A Third Level Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Qualification or similar
• Minimum 2 Years maintenance experience
• Ability to read, understand electrical schematics and engineering drawings
