VANRATH are recruiting a Senior Design Engineer to join a dynamic design team in a lead role within Manufacturing and Engineering.

The Client:
Our client is a leading supplier of high-quality fabricated products and engineering solutions. With a highly-skilled team and state of the art technology, they serve a broad client base across a diverse range of industries including Pharma, Architectural, Construction, FMCG, Medical and Healthcare.

Their services include Design & Innovation, Precision Machining, Fabrication & Welding, Laser Cutting, Technical Services and Finishing.

Remuneration:
£45,000 - £50,000 per annum + Package

Main Responsibilities

• Management of Design Team and allocation of projects
• Measuring and drawing of customer equipment, to support the production of detailed drawings
• Contribute to the on-going development of existing products
• Being a part of new product design and development
• Ensure designs aid ease of manufacture and oversee manufacturing process and making any changes as necessary
• Supporting the production team in resolving issues and queries against drawings
• Consistently work within the Quality framework operated by the company
• Actively participate in team or project based activities, where required
• Maintain design record files as required
• Resolve customer related issues

The Ideal Person:

• Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience working with Solidworks
• Minimum 3 Years experience in a Design Engineering role
