Beach Warden (Groomsport)

Hays are delighted to be working alongside Ards & North Down borough council, who are recruiting Beach Wardens to work in Groomsport Harbour.
Your new role
You will be responsible for facilitating the hire of specialist beach equipment, responding to any customer enquiries and ensuring the equipment is cleaned and maintained. You will be needed to document any findings and follow the necessary procedures when dealing with damaged equipment. Also, you will be needed to regularly check changing places and public convenience facilities, carry out litter picking duties and act as take keyholder for designated council sites.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will need to have at least 2 GCSEs, grade C or above. You will need to have at least 6 months customer service experience, have previously completed cleaning duties in a similar role and can demonstrate previous experience maintaining accurate records.
What you'll get in return
This is a seasonal vacancy, with the role expected to begin in June and end in September. You will work Saturday and Sunday 10am-5pm, 14 hours per week, where you will be paid weekly, with a competitive hourly rate on offer.
