ADMINISTRATION OFFICER -£12.36ph Weekly Pay Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
Dutie -First Contact Team Member
As a First Contact Team Member, you hold a vital role in the Department. You will be the first point of contact for claimants and a key part of helping individuals and their families towards financial independence and enabling them to claim the support they need as they progress.
There are 4 areas of work within the team which will need to be covered, these are:
Meet, Greet and Direct.
Reception.
Digital Zone.
Claimant Support.

A good member of the team is positive, enthusiastic, adaptable, supportive, innovative, focused, goal-oriented, knowledgeable, observant, respectful, patient and a clear communicator.

Key Skills for carrying out the 4 functions within the team
Be calm, relaxed and friendly.
Introduce yourself.
Speak clearly and simply.
Listen. The number one way to get a positive reaction is to listen first.
Question and Converse - encourage claimants to reflect, analyse and explore their own goals. Reflect. What the claimant has said.
Recognise Strengths and acknowledge them.
Challenge misconceptions and barriers especially within the Digital Zone.
Make it real and doable for the claimant.

**ADMIN/SIMILAR EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED****ACCESS NI CHECK IS REQUIRED****5 GCSES INCLUDING MATHS AND ENGLISH IS REQUIRED**
