Tax Senior / Manager - Exclusive Role - Immediate Start

Our client is a dynamic, vibrant and growing small/mid-tier Accountancy Practice based in the Lisburn area. Due to ongoing expansion, a superb opportunity has arisen for an experienced Tax Senior to join the Firm. This is an initial 6–12-month maternity contract and as such is a unique opportunity for an experienced Tax professional looking for a new experience and immediate employment whilst planning their next career move.

THE ROLE

• The role will be a mixture of personal (80%) and corporate tax work (20%).
• Reporting to the Partners, the successful candidate will take responsibility for assisting in the planning and delivery of a range of tax assignments
• Advising junior staff and review their work on an ongoing basis
• Liaising/advising clients on an ongoing, regular basis
• Providing input/opinion into monthly Practice meetings to ensure that all goals and targets are achieved
• Helping to grow the Tax Department through long term business development strategies

THE PERSON

• Qualified Tax Senior with a minimum of 1-2 years PQE gained within Practice to include a wide range of tax assignment experience
• Able to supervise and advise staff on various day to day assignments
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Highly IT literate
• Ambitious, career focused with the drive and determination to move to a higher level within the Practice
• Excellent planning and time management skills with the confidence and ability to work on assignments without the need for supervision

SALARY

An attractive salary + benefits up to £40k based on experience will be on offer to the successful candidate.
