Due to continued business growth, we are looking to recruit the following positions at our Headquarters in Lisburn.
TRANSPORT PLANNER
Role
- Cost efficient route planning of frozen, chilled & ambient loads to and from Ireland, UK and Europe
- React to changing situations to accommodate additional business
- Brief drivers & subcontractors with clear instructions ensuring drivers hours & operations are compliant
- Maintain and update job information into Transport Management system
- Manage customer requirements ensuring high levels of service are maintained
Essential Criteria
- 2+ years’ experience in a similar role of European transport planner
- Strong knowledge of transport industry, driver hours and CPC
- Experience dealing with customers, drivers, and hauliers
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced & pressurised environment.
- Good communications and IT skills including Excel & Outlook (or equivalent)
- Good geographical knowledge of Europe, UK & Ireland
Full time hours including 1 weekend in 4
Salary dependant on experience.
