Site Engineer (Residential)

Due to a recent contract award based in Co. Antrim, one of Northern Ireland’s leading house building contractors is seeking a quality-driven Site Engineer to join them on ongoing social housing schemes in Co. Antrim. With an operational history of over 50 years, the contractor has grown & developed their business from a small, family-run firm to a consistent leader in a variety of sectors including residential, commercial, healthcare & education, earning a reputation for repeatedly delivering successful, high-end projects across Northern Ireland.

Your new role
Based in greater Belfast, this project is £multi-million residential construction that will require a Site Engineer to be involved in all aspects of engineering and site supervision. Your role will be to provide support when required whilst ensuring productivity is optimised. Dealing directly with multiple stakeholders including clients and subcontractors, this role will be suited to a strong individual who is capable of driving schemes forward. You will be responsible for overseeing the externals and drainage of the project. This is initially a temporary role for several weeks, with a scope for further long-term works.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed as a Site Engineer, it is essential that you have relevant experience in a similar role, working on £multimillion residential or social housing schemes. To be considered for this role, you should hold strong communication skills and hold a successful track record of supervising engineers and subcontractors on site. You will oversee all aspects of groundworks, drainage and setting out duties.
