We are seeking to recruit a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a leading manufacturer of diesel and gas-powered generating sets. Our client has been at the forefront of power generation for over 30 years. Our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Portaodwn produces cutting-edge solutions ranging from 10Kva to 2500Kva. They're not just about generators; they’re about empowering industries, businesses, and communities with reliable and efficient power.

Your new role
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you’ll be part of our innovative design team. Your eye for detail and proficiency in 3D CAD systems will drive our product development. You’ll create detailed mechanical drawings and 3D models for our innovative diesel and gas generators, ensuring precision and functionality. Dive deep into the intricacies of airflow within our systems. Your insights will drive efficiency and enhance performance. You will be part of their research and development efforts for new products. You will help seamlessly align technical manuals and data sheets with your meticulous drawings, keeping them up to date.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in securing the Mechanical Design Engineers role, you should hold a secondary education degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering, have 3+ years of design-related experience, and ideally, familiarity with gen-sets.

What you'll get in return
